The five-day national art exhibition “Mo Manara Jagannath”, organized by Suvadra Art Gallery, Bhubaneswar, opened with great enthusiasm at Kalinga Art Gallery, located within the Odisha State Museum premises. More than just an exhibition, it is a heartfelt tribute to Lord Jagannath and a celebration of Odisha’s rich artistic legacy.

Walking into the gallery, visitors are welcomed by a stunning collection of artworks created by over 60 eminent and emerging artists from Odisha. Each painting reflects a unique interpretation of Lord Jagannath, capturing emotions, devotion, mythology, and contemporary artistic imagination.
The exhibition beautifully demonstrates how a single spiritual symbol can inspire countless creative expressions while preserving the timeless essence of Jagannath culture.
A Grand Inauguration
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Bishnupada Sethi, Chairman of the Odisha Forest Development Corporation, in the presence of Shri Babu Singh, MLA, Bhubneshwar, as the Guest of Honour.
Following the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, the dignitaries emphasized the enduring role of art in preserving cultural heritage and passing spiritual values from one generation to another.
Adding further depth to the occasion, Prof. Shantanu Swain, Vice-Chancellor of Sikkim University, praised the initiative of Suvadra Art Gallery, noting that exhibitions like these strengthen Odisha’s cultural identity while encouraging young people to reconnect with their artistic and cultural roots.

The inaugural event also included a special artists’ felicitation ceremony curated by Ashok Nayak, Director of Suvadra Art Gallery.

Adding a deeply spiritual atmosphere to the evening, acclaimed vocalist Susmita Das captivated the audience with devotional songs dedicated to Lord Jagannath, filling the gallery with music, emotion, and devotion.
